Memory

The RAM of the computer is what allows you to have on the screen at one time. The more RAM you have the more that can be displayed. The hard drive also has memory, but this memory is a bit different. It stores all of you information that you have on your computer and anything that you might have downloaded. This is very important, so that you can store stuff and have it there for you, but be careful cause it could get a virus and delete all of the information.

Processors and Cooling

Everything in this class was new to me. So it was no suprise to me when i didnt have a clue what a processor was, or anything about cooling. I just knew that computers could over heat, and that there was a fan inside of it. I learned that the processor processes information for the computer to interprate. It pretty much is the brain of the whole computer. Everything runs back to it. The cooling system is very interesting, it has a fan for the main cooling, but there heat sink also distibutes the heat so that it is more speard out and makes it easier to cool the whole computer, as well a whole.
